About
Jack McGaughey is a professional musician based in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
Born and raised in Eugene, Jack traveled across the pond to study at Paul McCartney’s internationally renowned Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music with First Class Honours. Jack has honed his craft through studies with leading industry professionals, including renowned multi-instrumentalist Mo Pleasure and Grammy-award-winning songwriter Amy Allen.
Primarily a keyboardist specializing in Hammond organ, Jack is a versatile musician with a great deal of professional experience. He has recorded in studios like Abbey Road, gigged in iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and The Cavern Club, and played festivals like The Moulin Blues Festival and Liverpool Sound City.
Jack has traveled all over the world performing at sea with Carnival Cruises and Royal Caribbean. He has backed songwriters for sessions hosted by SoFar Sounds and The Blues Kitchen, and his recorded work has featured on a variety of albums, most notably The Craig Charles Trunk of Funk Vol. 2 with PM Warson. Jack continues to tour regularly with several artists.

Jack’s most prized instrument: A Minimoog Model D, formerly David Rosenthal’s, signed by Billy Joel. Jack entered the Bob Moog Foundation’s 2022 annual raffle and was the lucky winner of this incredible piece of music history!
